Began Reigned: March 12, 2563
Reign Until: September 7, 2599

Born as Nakai Vodar on the colony world of Hesduros, he became the first Divine Emperor of the Sangheili People. His greatest triumphs occurred during the Human-Covenant War. At the Fall of Arcadia, Nakai rose to the rank of Field Master and led all Covenant ground forces against the UNSC and decimated all fortresses and cities that stand in his way. For this accomplishment, the High Prophets promoted Nakai to Fleetmaster and serve under Thel Vadam's command during the Fall of Reach. However, as the Great Schism erupted and the Flood quickly controlling the Holy City of High Charity, Nakai had the Sangheili ships form into a blockade to prevent the Flood from spreading its grip.
Ten Years after the Great War had ended with the High Prophet of Truths Death at the hand of Thel, aided by a Sangheili-Human alliance, the elders of the State of Vadam proclaimed Nakai as Kaidon for his loyalty and leadership after Thel's death. He then dealt with ending a civil war that had divided his people for a decade. He had the other Kaidons put aside their petty arguments and rebuild Sanghelios back to the strength it once had. This gave way for him to rename Vadam into New Vodar. During his time as Kaidon of New Vodar Nakai studied historical Japanese emperors and took a great interest in one particular ruler: Emperor Meiji, who unified a feudal state into a great empire. Nakai became inspired by this historical figure, despite his hatred towards humanity, and proclaimed the birth of the IVS Empire. This bold act allowed him to crowned by his elders as the first Divine Emperor of the Sangheili.
Throughout Nakai's regin was marked as a boon for the Sangheili. He established a strong military force that saw to the annexation of other systems to his regime. He also created a very popular and strong government body that would represent the people through the Writ of Clarification. As of today, all Sangheili, excepted the Covenant splinter group, see Nakai as a demigod chosen to lead the Sangheili to a new honorable path of peace and of strength.
